They mostly play self penned blues material, and singer, guitarist and songwriter Jon Slidewell has received much praise and accolades for his songwriting skills from the likes of Blues Matters, Rock n Reel magazine, Blues in Britain magazine and USA's Blues Blast mag.
As a band they have been featured on a Rock n Reel compilation CD. And they also released a highly praised EP entitled 'Four songs from the house' - all recorded on an old Tascam 4 track.
They have played a number of music pubs, clubs and festivals - including a storming performance at last years Stockport Blues and Roots festival. Plus the Middlewich folk & Blues festival & the Prestwich Beer festival
Recently they released a 5 song self penned EP called 'Someone new' under the new name of Jon Slidewell and the Reedcutters which is available on CD & download. It has already received great reviews in magazines such as Blues in Britain & Rock n Reel and later this year they will release a full LP.
